Die Moulded Rings
Flexible graphite die moulded rings are valve stem packing rings manufactured from high purity flexible graphite foil with a corrosion inhibitor but without any binders, elastomers or fillers. EGC Die Moulded Seals are manufactured from Thermafoil® flexible graphite and, using an inventory of thousands of tools, molded in-house for applications where tight dimensional tolerances are critical. The molding process created by EGC creates a high-density ring providing resilience regardless of thermal excursions.
Graphite Moulded Sealing Rings are produced using a pre-determined length of flexible graphite tape which is then, using a mould, compressed to form a solid ring of precise density and size. the products range offered by us comprises of Graphite Products, Industrial Graphite and Graphite Stopper Rods. Material Properties
- Compatible with media in the range pH 0-14
- No loss of volatiles at high temperature
- Lower limiting temperatures apply when used with oxidising agents
